PH-3000 Pump

Any thoughts on this I have this pump hooked up to my protein skimmer and it keeps turning off after 15 min of operation then turns back on within 10 min?

Hi there bugsymo, did you find out wat the problem was?, i'm experimenting exactly the same issue with my skimmer ph 3000 pump.

Had the same problem. The pump overheats and shuts down, then restarts. Very common problem with this particular model

I ran through two of these in a month before I bought a different pump; I suggest you do the same

And the second one you bought behaved the same way? I just order an other ph3000. I'm going to try and cancel. Kzaveri have any digestion on a model with similar dimensions an specs.

Yeah it behaved the same way. I got it as a return pump for my tank, swapped it for a Jebao DCS
