Yesterday I picked up a Neptune Apex, I did a quick install and everything seems fine with it so far. I do not yet have any corals, just fish and inverts. According to my Apex my PH level is 4.83. Is this something to be concerned about. The system has been up for at least 6 months now. What would be the cause for such a low ph level. This is my first ever reading of my ph. Can the Apex be out of calibration? My tank has at least 100 pounds of live rock and I do 25% water change every two weeks. I use instant ocean salt ( not reef crystals yet). Any comments is well appreciated.
