Ph 8.5 - 8.1

My PH goes to 8.48 during the day and down to 8.18 at night (that is the most flex I have seen). Is that too much of a shift? Right now we just have fish and some LPS, but will be getting SPS a few months down the road.

My PH swings from 7.96 (at night) to 8.27 (day). If you have a refugium, you may want to put it on reverse lighting, as that will help reduce the swing.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, but a PH that high is a bit abnormal, IMO.

dont worry too much about ph. it will swing naturally. better off focusing on the alkalinity levels.

i never adjust for ph......never.

Thats not too bad, i wouldn't worry too much. Mine swings from 8.3 at night to 8.7 during the day. No problems here.

agree, that is pretty normal fluctuation.
