my ph is parked at 8.0 all by its self it has not changed in 3 weeks and I don't want to use chemicals to change it. my alk is normal but my calcium is high right now (due to new guy) I do not have an reactors. would it be safe to add a coral or two? and will 8.0 ever be a problem?

I do not think that pH 8.0 is a problem.
