Ph dropping!

My tank finished cycling about a week ago. My ph has always been on the low side. Usually around 7.8-7.9. I just looked and it is 7.67. Seems to be dropping fast. I am using a pinpoint ph tester that was calibrated about two weeks ago. Any suggestions? Would taking My air line for my skimmer and running it to the crawlspace help?

Thank you for the link. The link tells me to make sure I have good oxygen exchange. I have two ecotech mp10's and a return pump in a 66 gallon tank. So I have that in check. Then it says to make sure the alkalinity is within reason. My alk is 9. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Is the water clear or cloudy? I had this happen because of a bacterial bloom. I added movement to my refugium it went away.

It's clear as can be. I just tested ph with a salifert test with same results. I'm just getting over diatoms and a small patch of green hair algae. It's now dropped 7.65. I really do appreciate the help.

I'm assuming you don't have any livestock in the tank yet? If so I wouldn't even worry about it at this point. When you add a coral or two and they begin to look a little grumpy, then you might want to start looking for answers. FWIW I haven't used a pH test kit in probably 15 years or so. It's just not one of the crucial parameters that needs to be held in check IME.

Just added cuc yesterday. I'm probably worrying to much and agree. Tomorrow though I am going to run a air line to crawlspace and see if that helps. I never open windows in my house and that could possibly be a reason.

Get more water disturbance on the surface. If you have a sump try to ensure surface water movement there as well. That will help with the O2 CO2 exchange and in turn increase the pH.
