pH during hypo?

I am currently treating my fish with hypo due to ich and have noticed that the pH has steadily dropped from 8.0 down to 7.4. Is this ok or do I need to dose a buffer. Water params are Sal 1.009-1.010 ammonia .5ppm NO2 1 ppm NO3 0 ppm. Changing 6 gal daily in a 20 gal tank. Salinity measured with a refractometer.

Yes the issue with hypo is that with the salinity that low the water is no longer stable and thus the ph drops.people normally adjust for this with buffer.I would just add to the water you change so you dont raise it to dramatically since you are changing each day.

i would do more like 10-15 gallon WC's with that ammonia. and use baking soda morening and night to try and keep the PH up
