ph is low

It seems no mater what I do my ph is always around 7.6. I have a milwaukee ph meter fresh probe and calibrated, have added super buffer dkh by the tub and tried additions of kalk at high concentrations, the ph will rise for a short time the fall right down again. The inhabitants seem ok except for some troublesome cyano ( I think ph could be the problem) I do have a calcium reactor that I have taken off line for the last couple of weeks without any rise in ph.

How's the air circulation in the room that you keep the tank/sump? Sometimes if you let in some fresh air it helps.

I put in a $3500 air exchange unit with a fresh air intake and an electronic air cleaner

I have had a similar problem in the past. What time of day are you taking the ph readings? am is going to be lower than pm readings. The buffer is not fixing the issue only masking it. A few things I would look at:
What kind of cleaning crew do you have? What does your sand look like? Do you have much detritus in your tank? Do you have any flters/sponges in your tank? How often do you clean them?
