PH Levels in fry tank

Ok we r trying again on raising fry.. Question here is how can you safely raise the PH level in the fry tank that is only 48 hrs post hatch????
It is extremely, extremely low. Since I only have the color chart from my Api it looks to be possiblely low 6's.

Mary, Have you tried to aerate the water by increasing the amount of bubbles that come from the air stone to raise the PH?

They can take a few bubbles but might migrate to the other side of the tank. it should raise the PH of the water a bit making it safer. Increasing the oxygen helps dispel some of the carbon dioxide, thus increasing the PH. I have also opened the hood over my tank for a few hours to get more air to the tank, just make sure the room light is not too bright. Below is an article I read that helped me understand PH a bit better. What is the PH of the breeding tank?

They are already on one side of the tank but I will up the air supply a little bit more. Will read the article after I finish working with the rotifers.

Sorry for not getting back sooner... Well I lowered the bubbles a tiny bit because I thought I lost them could not see them...But I did end up losing like 3 so now for what I could see since they are still so tiny looks to be 12 left. I might have double counted one or two eyes plays tricks on me at 6am. I checked the PH this morning and looks to be like 7.8ish. And we have another batch that was laid yesterday... Man they don't waste any time laying batches. But there are some eggs that are a different color not sure what is going on this is the second time I have seen this.

For some reason the white ones appear to be non fertilized eggs. I had this happen in the beginning when my clowns first laid eggs and the male ate them and the rest of the eggs developed.

My clowns only ate their eggs in the beginning. The only thing I can recommend is make sure you are feeding them well. I feed small amounts 4 -5 times a day when they have eggs. Maybe someone else can chime in with more experience. :)

If all the eggs are gone by this weekend I will be moving them to their on breeding tank snd set up one of the auto feeders so they will get fed more often.

Well the batch is almost gone. I am not at home during the day so I can only feed them two times a day.

Sorry to hear your batch is gone. :( I know how frustrating this is.

I work during the day as well. I feed, as soon as I get up lights on at 6 am, I feed at 615, I then feed right before I leave for work 715. Then I feed as soon as I get home 415 then around dinner time 6 pm then before bed 9 pm. Lights are out at 915. I feed small amounts and this has not had any negative effects on my tank.
But like you said moving them to a breeding tank of their own might help with a feeder.

Well as of last night - this morning I have three left from batch #15 they are now 10 dph and believe or not but I thought all the eggs would be gone off the rock from batch #16 but there are still some left on there they have now turned silver so I will set up the fry catcher to try and see if they will hatch tonight if not I know they will hatch tomorrow night.
