Can you suggest some calibration solutions that could be made with things around the house to calibrate pH meters. Please forgive me if this is a repeat - I can't seem to find any info out there.

However, it is mostly good for checking pH meter accuracy, not actually calibrating one, for which you will also need a pH 7 buffer, and may need a pH 4 or 10, depending on the design (some will allow the borax as the second point, and some demand that it actually be pH 4 or 10).
Thanks for the info. I have a milwaukee meter. It just one calibration dial. I presumed that i just needed a solution of a known pH. I seem to have lost the manual though.
