pH probe port

Grizzled & Cynical
Can anyone recommend a good pH probe port holder. I have one screwed into a 1/2' threaded hole on the top of my CaRx that compresses around the probe. Leaks all the time though, even if I just look at it.

Avast Marine used to sell them. I got 10 of them a couple of years ago. I am not sure is they still do.

Here is one source. I couldn't find them on the Marine Depot site which is where I normally got them from. FWIW, yours is probably salvageable. Just take it apart and put the rubber seal in boiling water. If needed, add some silicone grease to the seal when you reassemble it.

If not, you can order them here:

While we call them probe ports, they are actually ½”MPT x Liquid Tight Cord Grips that are just repurposed for our use. You would just need to narrow down the correct ID for the pH probe.

Edit: Here is one from Grainger that should work though I'd probably go with the one from Champion just to be safe.

You can still get them from Avast Marine as a replacement part for the kalk stirrer item
(16) Probe Holder. They are 3.99 each.

Actually, I did just that - including removing some schmutz that had built up - and now it seals again. Think I'll get a spare to have on hand though. Thanks to all who replied. Been adding a larger reaction chamber to my CaRx I had little fitting leaks everywhere. Must be losing my touch :(
