When I had MH, I always used the PHOENIX bulbs. Nice color.

Used both. Happy with both. Either one should be ran with a true M81 ballast for best effect. What wattage are you trying to use. I could loan you one to try. Only has a couple months use on bulb. Forgot which one it is. I think its the phoenix 14k DE. I think the radium gave my tank a windex look IIRC. Its been a while.

Tough choice. I really like the colors with the phoenix and the radiums. Depends to some extent on the particular coral. I try frags of the same species under variable lighting options and judge color per my taste.

I run 250W's over my tank. Im leaning on buying the phoenix and maybe after the radiums, and trying them both. I know they are both good bulbs so I wont probably mind buying them.
