Pheonix 150 14,000 K

Going down the last of options.......I went ahead and and changed bulbs to 14 K from a 10K....maybe the 10K was to much for my 38gal......Wow what a differents in color my 10K had a yellow tint to it....The Pheonix 150 watt HQI 14,000 K......looks purple.......From my previous post I was having a problems with corals not fully opening....xenia,polys.......we will see with the different light

thats the bulb i have,,, and i have seen many (not used but seen) and i like it best...

it will blue out after it burns in a little... good luck

keep us inform how did that work, I have been wanting to change the light on my fixture for the Phoenix 14k.

I really like the color of the 14K....but its not up to me its up the corals....lol

BTW r00onmac...I think you were the one who told me to try the 14 K
