Lighting at 50/50

I've recently decided that I'm going to do the lighting for my DT at 50/50. Half bright lights for any corals, the other half more subdued (2/3 roughly less). Reason in doing this is 1/2 will be able to grow anything and the other half is for my fish that are found in the deeper waters and like less light. Hoping this helps keep the brighter colors in my wrasses, plus my eel wouldn't mind it.

Things seem to be fine at the moment.
I now have in my DT:
Chainlink eel, purple firefish, red firefish, matted filefish, cf cyanopleaura, c rubmarmaginatus, carpenters flasher wrasse, a yellow tail blue damsel, peppermint shrimp, hermits, and snails, various coral.
2 blue gudgeons currently in QT.
