Phone Pictures!

Whenever I take a picture of my zoas, it comes out blurry as all you know what. I think it might be the angle.

Yes I never can get a clear photo if I angle the phone at all, I have to push it flat up against the glass to get the best ones usually and keep on tapping focus in certain spots until you hit the sweet spot

Using a samsung galaxy rugby pro cellphone. I run leds over my 90g display, and have found that by turning the Blue's off-with my Apex app of course lol- & leaving just the whites/colored leds on yeilds better pictures. Sometimes I'll photoshop the sharpness, brightness, and contrast out to clear a certain pic up, but isn't needed all the time.
First pic photoshopped a little. Second and third are all phone.

This is absolutely the case. Step #1 is to shoot straight through the glass. Shooting at any angle introduces distortion.

One of my joys when I'm not shooting my tank is my feeling of freedom being able to point my camera in any particular direction and angle I want.

mknightryder, those are a refreshing break from the usual not much besides blue cell phone tank pics.

Thanks Reef Bass! The pic of the pink-spot goby actually won my local reef club's potm last month! I'm super stoked, cause they always put up some nice pics.
Nice Cell phone pics can be had if the user is familiar with phone's camera settings such as- contrast, resolution, white balance, & exposure balance. It just takes a little playing with.
I was looking at a DSLR cam and macro lenses around Christmas time, but other needs got in the way. LOL.

I might try turning the blues off of my radion and see what that does. Some of these pictures are actually pretty nice considering.

Took some more today.
