Phosban vs Rowaphos

Which is better? I bought a cleaner pack and the snails are just hanging around, not even cleaning the rock. I am battling red slime and green hair. Just did a 15% water change. I know I need to drop my phos but need some input on what to use. I currently use Phosguard and it does'nt seem to be working. Can someone out there help me?

I use phosban and the phosban reactor. You'll also need to work on what's putting the phosphates into your water.

Too much feeding, feeding flakes, frozen brine etc. or the water used for salt or top off could all be sources.

Thanks for the info. I recently changed to pellet food for my fish. I honestly think that my nems may be the culprit. I do feed them more. I was feeding them as much as I did my fish which was 2 times a week. I recently learned that I was'nt feeding my nems enough so I started feeding them 4 times per week. Could that be the prob?

I use phosban. When I first tried it it was with the mesh bag, almost no results. I then tried the reactor and it was a dramatic difference. I think you really need to run the stuff in a reactor to get proper results.

You would have to have a laboratory stocked with analytical instruments to be able to tell any actual difference. I don't think most of us in the hobby can really tell other than anecdotes.
