Hi anyone know if phosban have any effect's with clam's thanks for any help.

I run a Phosban reactor with RowaPhos on my SPS & Clam tank with no problems. I've got two Maximas, a Crocea, and a Deresa. All doing very well.

tell us when you added the clams.

when you started the PO4 remover.

the symptoms the clams showed.

I have 11 clams in a 90 gallon tank, i'll added 3 clams a month a go i'll been using phosban about 2 months ill still have clams in the tank they seem to be doing well iam 400 watt xm bulb 20 k and 2 vho actincs 110 watt x2

what symptoms did they show?

do you have any pics of the clams when they were sick?

yes the 3 clams that died were the ones that were added

the mantle was going inward the clam died a few days later sorry no pictures of the clams thank's

its hard to say what happened, the clams could have been sick before you got them.

FWIW i run all the water from my PO4 reactor through carbon before returning it to the tank
