Phosphate Photometer

After looking at them for some time I finally took the plunge and purchased a Milwaukee Phosphate Photometer today. It should arrive early next week. The Photometer should provide for very accurate testing of phosphates compared to most kits which either do not go into the low range or are very hard to read. The range of the meter is 0.0 to 2.5 with an accuracy of +-0.04. I would be willing to test anyones water if you are wanting to get a good idea of where you phosphates are for $1. This money is just to help cover the cost of the meter and the reagents.

Can you bring it to the meeting? I am sure we will all want to have our water tested.

Yep, I will bring it to the meeting coming up.

good cause I will have my $1 waiting for a test. Haven't tested it in an age so it will be interesting..... :)

The photometer arrived tonight! I did three tests of my water.

Test 1: 0.0
Test 2: 0.2
Test 3: 0.2

It appears I am about spot on with my readings if not just a bit low.

Unfortnately I am not going to be able to make it to the meeting now because something came up. I will try and remember to bring the photometer to next months meeting.

funny.....hope her middle name isn't fraggle

I was hoping we were doing the zoo in Feb

I have called the Zoo twice, and the lady who sets that up has been out. I am supposed to her from her on Monday to work out the details so we can go there in Feb.

LOL...that is true. I actually call her my Little Frag. :)

just remember, it is only funny to fellow reefers when you glue her to a rock so you don't misplace her. Most of them like med to high light and flow.
