I was wondering if anyone have used either Seachem's Phosguard or Kent's Phosphate sponge in a tank with anemones (especially carpets). I need to remove some phosphates but was wondering if these products will adversely affect or harm these delicate species. I know on Kent's label, it states that it will not release any soluable aluminum compounds back into the tank. These may be perfectly safe to use but I just wanted to be absolutely sure. I would appreciate any feedback from folks that have carpets and have used these first hand before I try it.
