Last Wednesday was water change day 30%. Went to fish store got another mp40 and phosphate test. Got .174 woke up the next day before I fed the fish and since it was a new gadget tested again .274 in just one day. Thursday I went and got the lanthum chloride and have been dosing about 5-10 drops per in the night time actually. Friday afternoon looked how ugly the tank was with cyano and some other hair algea(I know new tank syndrome). I decided to do the three day lights out. I did read a lot about it how if you aren't limiting the nutrients it will come back. I didn't wrap the tank just no light. So Friday and Saturday night I dosed my LC and microbacter7. Sunday morning I crAnked up both vortechs about 10,000gph scrubbed and turkey basted rocks several times and dosed the LC and microbacter7 at night. Monday morning half dose of bacteria and LC because light was coming back on about noon only the blues. 2pm tested phosphate got .02164. And the tank looks real good clear water. Sand looks decent not great. Rocks looks real good kinda got rid of the ugly brown and green on them. Corals all look happy. Overall I am happy with the results. There might be one bit of cyano or maybe that red color coralline don't know yet with our trying to blow it off. I still have tons of random flow different modes synch and anti synch through out the day. So hopefully better flow less phosphates I can get some sps coloration and growth and get over these uglies.

Well it was 5 days and just a few drops. So far my sps are looking good after just turning on the light. I have the 6 frags from nook. And then I have 7 other sps all look good just have to wait and see I guess
