x2 - I'm a regular in their Landscape forum.

I generally steer clear of the "gear" forums (on any photo site) however as they tend to be full of strongly opinionated folks who argue for the sake of arguing. You never actually see them post a picture unless it's to do a 100% crop of some random text to decided if the lens is "sharp" or not. I'd rather just go take pictures.

The complaint I hear from people about this site is that he often shoots and/or writes about 20,000$ pieces of equipment... but photography is about light, and i find his stuff applies very well.. i've got about 10 of his dvd's as well. Good stuff

DP Review and Luminous- Landscape are review sites and not really forums. Its a good read when one wants to get info from someone, its always better to get many opinions from people before purchasing big money items such as lenses and or cameras. Here is another one not mentioned yet review site that is with a twist.
