Photoperiod advice

[Quiverfull]

I am looking for some photo period advice. I have a 120g mostly bare bottom mixed lps and sps. I have just started adding sps (green birds nest, pink poccillopora, green poccillopora, yellow scroll, tricolor and blue paletta) all have good polyp extension and reasonable coloration. My lighting consists of 250w mhx2 with 14k pheonix and t5 54watt actinic x 2 and 48 inch actinic LED strip. I run the actinics (t5s and LED) 12 hours and the MHs for 8 hours daily. Any comments or suggestions regarding photo period?

Sounds good. I run my lights the same way. 6-9 hrs for MH seems to be the norm.

Most of the guys that I know don't run their MH more than 6hrs daily.

I havent ran Mh's in a while, but when I did, I shot for 8 hours of Mh, and 4 extra hours (2 at the front and 2 at the back) of t-5 actinics. I think this was the extreme of the photo period though. and wouldnt recommend ging any further then that.
