i'm really digging the new SE 250w (switched from an hqi 250w) light and so are the corals. this is just over 4 months into it.

what do you like better about the SE than the DE and what bulb are you using now and what were you using with the DE?

I really like the color from that bulb.

i was using a AB 20,000k DE, i just didn't like the color and my corals were losing their color. what i have now is an xm 15,000k SE (yeah low par, blah blah) but my corals are getting their color back and the overall color of the light is better, i think.

I;ve got some of those too, and they grow Really quickly, IME. Theyre great. Usually its just the green ones that grow fast.
