Photoshop help needed please

One kid was not able to attend our last baseball game but I need him added to the team photo. I had an adult stand in for him and now I need the kid's head to replace the adult's head. And I don't know how to do it and make it look natural.

Here is the destination photo.

The adult in the back row that does not have a hat on needs to be replaced with a kid in the photo below

He's the second player from the left in the back row (not counting the two coaches who are wearing shorts)

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. I can email the large jpegs or even RAW images if needed.

Thanks.

I think you were supposed to replace the coach 3rd from the left in the back row with the kid. Looks like the player he wanted in there though.

Did I get the right player?

You got the right player but you were supposed to replace the dude in the back left without a hat on ;) But yours is good, heh.

Well... I didn't feel like replacing someone's head with someone's head, so I just inserted him there..lol

FIXED! I even removed the distracting light pole!

Yeah, the team photo with the missing kid was taken on a sunny day. That's why we decided to take another one. Unfortunately, he could not make the new date. So we will have to live with one squinty kid. Honestly I don't think any non-photographers will pay that close attention.

Guys, thanks for your willingness to help. I knew I could count on my RC friends.

dont want to be too much of a critic but the kids "chin shadow" is off. Try a little dodge brush maybe at 25% opacity? looks pretty good though.

And my staff gives me grief when I push the color of a fish a bit, or dither out a scuff mark on the tank glass! I love PS (grin).

I would take a picture of just the kid with his uniform in more favorable light. Try to replicate what it should like in camera, then it will be MUCH easier to swap.
