When you feed your clams do you turn off your skimmers? I have DT's phytoplankton, but on the bottle there is no recommendation to turn off the skimmer when feeding.
when i would feed my clams i would turn off my main pump and just leave on the circulating pump(s) in the tank on. i would leave it off for 10-15 minutes (or longer) depending on what i was busy doing(lol). i dosed several times a week. good luck to you
I've always found that the best way to feed small clams is to just bowl feed them, easier for you, and you don't have to turn off your skimmer/pumps, etc
