phytoplankton setup

I see joe bergers setup for phytoplankton and need a detailed storty on how to do this for a similar setup on my 220. From where to get cultures and what to do with them?????????.
i'm good with the DIY but need to understand the concept of growing phyto , zooplankton and rotifers!

I am working on writing soemthing to put on my website to detail how one can do this. In the meantime if you buy Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson that's the basis for what I have done. Beside that, it's a great book!
