Well techinically I got 2 polyps for 6.50 in shipping costs but anyway they are healing and hopefully will get their rings back soon that they lost in shipping. I put them on a really cool looking rock that will look flippin sweet when they cover the whole thing. Cant wait :lol2: The next cool thing would be to get some small fish to live inside the rock.

Mine are starting to show the alternating skirt, and you can faintly see where the ring will be. I can not wait!

Thanks to Adrian again for the heads up about this one. It is not everyday you can get 2 Hornets for 6.50.

Mine look about the same, I don't see the ring or the alternating skirt yet...anyone know how long we should expect it to take to get their colors back? Finding care info on these is a little tricky; are these like the blue hornets that like low flow and indirect lighting?

how? algae covered?

Not sure what happened. No ammonia, no nitrites, about 5ppm nitrates, ph 8.3, temp 79-80F. They never colored up, they just stayed solid purple. They were open every day though, until last week one day when I came home from work and they both looked shrunken, and by the next day they had disappeared. Probably the combination of poor lighting (PC) and temp being too warm, but I'm just guessing. I was keeping them towards the top of the tank to get them more light, but it also gets warmer up there. Adrian, if you save one for me while I work on getting some decent lighting and/or maybe a bigger tank, that'd be awesome. :)
