My clowns have been together for about a 1.5 years. My question is the female will not let the male in her rose anemone. He has to be just next to it. Do you think she is getting ready to lay eggs?
No...she hasn't accepted him as a partner when she does you will notice them sleeping together in the same nem... During the day she might tolerate him and allow him to get close or share the nem... but otherwise she isn't ready to breed or lay eggs... Good luck
