look like they were dying pretty quick....but this was there 1st batch and mine also....am borrowing book to learn the correct way to do this...so as i hear they will start laying them on a regular basis....ill get it right sooner or later

I had a pair of clarkii that spawned regularly for about a year before I sold them to a breeder. The first batch that mine laid was really small compared to all the rest. You might get a much larger batch next time. My other fish and shrimp got a huge feast on the nights that they hatched.
