picasso clowns

quaterback. dont get me wrong, i think its admireable what you are saying and i wish all lfs felt that but the reality is its not the case.

anyway, hopefully oama will see this thread and straighten things out.

chaos04 's information is 100% INACCURATE. be careful of future information from this person.

ORA DID NOT SELL THERE PICASSO stock parents, in fact they are producing more parents from the F1 generation. This is great new to all picasso lovers since there will be more available and hopefully at a lower price. this information was confirmed by rep. from ORA directly.

ora is definetly making the clown hobby interesting. they have a pair of snowflakes also, so this upcoming year will be very interesting.

I'll clean the glass tonight and try to get more pics.

These guys came from www.blueribbonkoi.com in VA It's a Koi pond place that has just started to tap the marine market. The best thing is they don't want to carry just yellow tangs and the normal stuff, they are trying to have nice stock. They also have a sweet hybrid tang (Gold rim/Achilles).

The 'Picassos' that they have are not for sale right now. I got these because I know the owner and saltwater 'manager' (and it helps that I also picked up a Deltec AP 702 from them yesterday).

my LFS just got a a few picassos in...They look alot like your guys Leishman...

However, my LFS has them listed as "Picasso" Oscellaris. They got them from ORA. Selling for $60/each.

I was going to pick up a couple, but I always thought the "Picasso Clowns" were perculas.

I am kicking myself right now, one of the little guys had tons of white. But something in the back of my mind was telling me i was getting duped for some misbar oscellaris, but I guess that is all they are?

I was ready to buy until i saw the nigripes pair they had...beautiful fish.

edit: sorry for the double post, meant to hit the edit button instead of quote button

you thought right,

picassos are PERCULAS, not osc. its not the first time a lfs named something incorrectly and it certaintly will not be the last.
