A picasso is just a normal perc with abnormal stripes. Most people would say the defining feature are the elvis wannabe side burns just behind the eyes. That is a nice clown though, I like it.

Oh, So the distinctive feature is the elvis side burn would define the clown as a so called real picasso?

No. Picasso is just a Perc. with "excessive" abnormal striping. I believe that the ORA Cabtive produced Picassos have the side burns but I have recently seen some WC "Picassos" that have very cool striping patterns that do not have the side burns.

I've heard the side burn markings behind the eye is one way to distinguish them, and the white marking should have a modified cross pattern. Here is a pic of one of my Picassos from ORA.

BTW, your friends clown is very nice!
