If I get a 2 1/8" picasso clown from one vendor and get another 1 1/2" from a different vendor, will the size difference be okay. What are the odds that both are female? The 1 1/2" seems like it shouldnt be a female at that size?

Great. I just purchased a single premium picasso from DD, and a platnium percula from LA's ORA collection. I think the platnium just comes directly from ORA's facility in Florida..

Hope they pair up nicely!

I saw that picasso in DD and was tempted, it's a beautiful one

Ya I watched it for a while.. I wanted a bonded pair but got tired of waiting for one to show.. My guess is, today's DD listing will have a bonded pair :)

But I'm happy with the variety and getting a platnium for the 2nd one. I assume it should be healthy coming from ORA directly.

Remember that, not only size but age is important and if that one was in a group or alone "in the dark"...😁 A small one age of 9 months, alone for more than 3 months are going to be a female in a irreversible way.

Ya I assumed that.. The DD picasso is 2 1/4" and could be a female.. But from what I read, the ORA one is suppose to be tiny.. I'm afraid it might be really tiny lol.. Hoping its at least 1-1.25".

You can still get it! lol.. I just saw another pair I really liked and asked them to swap out the order, and they were able to swap it out still...

I'm really excited about these pair:

The pair arrived.. the larger one is very pretty.. the small one has a strange gray blotch under his head by the pectoral fin... I thought it was sick or something but the picture from LA shows it too, just not as obvious in the picture... Hopefully it fills in with deeper black.

I put them in QT and they were on opposite corners, but the small one found the big one and immediately swam over to her.. Now they are swimming together all the time... hmmm

The smaller one is a Nebula Picasso and some of them have bluish-grayish hue to them. That's normal. He's actually a better shaped clown than the female.
