maybe, ive had clowns clean mad and not lay for more than a year, then i have some that cleaned a couple days and bam, eggs galore,,, soon you will join the picasso clown hatching faze....goodluck
Looks to me like they are beginning to show interest in preparing to lay eggs. A very good indicator when they will actually begin to lay is that the females belly will begin to look very enlarged and inflated. I noticed this on my female clown last week and now I have eggs!
I wish you good luck with the clowns and let me know when you decide to grow them out and put them on the market! :thumbsup:

Gorgeous clowns, mine have been doing the same thing for the past year, and I still have seen anything.
+1 and when the female starts cleaning it as well.
Also, what brannock_16 mentioned about the female's belly, plus you'll see the ovipositor protruding out from both male and female once they are ready to lay.
