Piccaso sick..need help

I bought this clown about 2 weeks ago. The only symptoms now are that he's breathing fast, fins are clamed down & pigment is on the dull side almost like there's a very slight film but not really. What would be the most common or logical illness & way I should treat. I want to treat asap but I'm not sure what to do.

I would say brook, but its almost unheard of for a tank raised clown to get brook....

and brook kills really quickly. this fish looks like its been showing these signs for a while and will continue for a while til it dies. i say some type of bacterial infection like gill disease

yeah i would say it defantly isnt brook..+1 on extreme clownfish..hope it gets better sweet looking clown

How is it doing? Such a beautiful fish - hurts to see them like this. Absent a disease, I would guess ammonia poisoning. Have checked all your stats? How new is the tank? Judging by the lack of any corraline on the shells in the substrate, it looks kinda new.

I have him in a QT tank with life guard. Still hanging in there, day one of treatment. The tank is new but ALL of the LR came from a 3 year old system so there was no breakin period. All of the parameters are good.
