Pick apart my wrasse purchase...

i have had a number of wrasses bury themselves for a fair while, i think the longest was 9 days, leave them be and i am sure it will appear when its ready.

Thanks for the reply. I hope so. I think I may have thrown all of my fish off by covering the tank to get them acclimated to my DT lighting schedule. Before I covered my tank, they were all out and about from about 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM. The problem with that is that I wouldn't have a chance to observe them and make sure they were getting enough to eat in my food competitive DT since I make it home anywhere between 4:00-5:30 PM, and typically leave before any of my fish are out and ready to feed.

As soon as I covered my tank, all but one of the wrasses immediately went into the substrate. Now only one is still out and about, and eating like a pig. Hopefully the tamarin will show itself soon.

I'm assuming I should hold off on prazi treatment until I'm sure of the tamarin's fate, correct???

Still no sign of the tamarin, but no ammonia either to indicate that she has died.

The remaining potters is still a pig. I've added 1ml of prazi per day to ramp up the medication to the recommended level slowly so the potters wouldn't loose her appetite like my parrotfish did previously when treated with prazi. I also have an additional 15g of water from my DT in a tote already treated with prazi. From this point on, I'll do a two gallon per day water change with the water from the tote to keep down ammonia, and keep the water quality up. This wrasse eats allot, and poops allot...

After the prazi treatment, I'll observe for a week or so before deciding what to do next. I'm still a little apprehensive about treating her with cuppramine.

Thoughts???

Couldn't get her to sit still for a pic. You can see my 225g reef in the background. The QT is set up right next to it. She's doing well in the QT. Sorry for the crappy pics, but it's all I could do...
