Pick me a final fish for a 75gal reef

I have a 75gal with LPS and softies, with a blue midnight angel, a Clarkii clown, and a mated pair of Molly Miller blennies. I'd like to add one or two more fish. I'd love to add a Potter's and a Golden angel, but just don't want to risk it with expensive angels. I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Of course, the fish(es) need to be compatible with my current stock list, and my budget is about $150.

A fairy or flasher wrasse, Bristletooth tang, an assessor. There are plenty to chose from and you can put a few more than just 1 more fish in there.

I know the tank can handle several more fish, I just don't like really busy tanks. I was thinking about a Chevron tang, though it's still pushing it in terms of their maximum potential size.

I have been considering a blue spot jawfish and a black cap basslet.

If I went with a wrasse, I'd kinda want my mystery wrasse back from my cousin. It's a crustacean destroyer (probably ate 100+ peppermint shrimp, several dozen porcelain crabs, an emerald and even a rock crab, and tried to eat all my hermits so much that they only came out at night when the wrasse was asleep) but still one of my all-time favorite fish.

I could get a small purple tang but I already have one in my larger tank. I kinda want something different. And rare; or at least less common.

how about a longnose hawkfish. they are different and they mosty sit on the rocks so it wont look busy

Haha I'm on Diver's Den every day. Those candy basslets sure are nice, but for 1/10 the cost, I would get a Swissguard basslet that looks almost as nice.

And unless you have a deep sandbed of 4 inches+ dont get a jawfish
Thanks for the heads up. The tank does have a deep sandbed. It was actually built specifically for a blue spotted jawfish. I ended up getting a pearly jawfish instead, which thrived and loved the tank, until it got chased into my anemone. :( Maybe it's time to finally try one. I'm just wary because they don't have a high success rate in aquariums.

i'd second a fairy wrasse
or maybe a helfrichs?

I think you're onto something!

I've always wanted a Helfrichi firefish, but also always wondered why the steep cost, considering it's not much prettier than the cheaper purple firefish. They are nice and calm/docile/slow, so it fits the not-busy criterion...

Maybe a Helfrichi firefish and some kind of basslet or assessor...

believe me, helfirchi's firefish are worth the price. they're a great looking fish and have an elegance that's hard to capture without seeing them in person.

I would suggest an Indigo Hamlet, I have had one for a bit over a year and really enjoy him. They are blue as the name suggest, mine at least is fairly docile and out in the open a lot.

They are not that expensive at $40-50 but a bit hard to come by and have only seen a few on divers den.

With your semiaggressive fish I would not add the following suggestions: Helfrichi Firefish (or any firefish for that matter), Flasher Wrasse, Assessors, Jawfish, and even a fairy wrasse may be a problem. Your Clarkii and blennies are probably going to be a huge issue adding another fish that docile. I would probably suggest going with a larger dottyback, kole tang, or a larger anthias species such as Squamipinnis.

Since you have a deep sand bed, how about a radiant wrasse? They'll help with pest and and are very active.
