Picked up 2 new Oscellaris Clowns

Well, it's been 6 months since I picked up fish for my 55g tank..

I have had the same 2 fish for 6 months with a 2 month QT period for them in the middle due to a 3rd fish having ich-- which consequently the 3rd fish died of the ich and poor QT conditions. (in hypo).

I have since cleaned up the QT tank, and the other two are doing good in the DT with no additional signs of ich.

I am planning to start hypo treatment of the two clowns today or tomorrow at the latest.

They are both acting and feeding good. They are orange and white striped and are very tame. I traced my finger along the glass and one of the two followed it. lol.

(They are both tank raised). No signs of ich on them, but, I'm going to do 3 to 4 week hypo treatment anyways, just to be sure.

Any reccomendations on making this treatment and transition a positive experience for the fish?

If they are tank raised I would not treat them with hypo. Just put them in your display tank. However, your display tank may have ich unless you left it fallow after the original ich break out.
