Well, figured i'd get another one since i had such good success with the last. This is by far the smallest red i've ever seen, had to get it. My Perc hasn't found it yet but here's to hoping. Notice the frag disk next to it, its tiny!

Great specimen the red really pops! I am quite jealous to say the least of all you Californians and your access to all the BEST livestock and coral :) !

Very nice! I was going to buy one exactly like that this morning but got busy at work. When I called he said it was sold. It also happened to be at a store in S.D.;) Nice snag.

Yea, saw those. He had some other really nice stuff so he still got my money. I also bought that purple base orange tip bubble anemone.

I noticed you have at elos 79 gallon tank. Is this tank large enough for a carpet when the carpet grows??

and how come all the carpets for sale are always huge???

Well, i had a 18 inch red carpet in the same tank until i sold it and it did perfectly fine, theres a thread here somewhere about it. I guess in short, MY answer would be yes. Of course some, if not most would disagree.

Wow I haven't seen you in this part of the forum for quite some time. Once again..beautiful red haddoni. Are you going to keep this one?

Nice haddoni. One of the best choices for a captive Stichodactyla. While they can grow large, they take their time doing it and not all do.

The other one just took up to much real estate making it hard to keep anything else. I think i'm safe with this one for a while!

Amazing nem...

You west coasters are SO lucky...I get excited every time I see a nem in the stores that isn't completely bleached out or beat half to death.

If you don't overfeed a haddoni, it won't grow all that fast/huge, and still be healthy. My oldest one is 9+ years old, and still doing great in my 75. And horrors of all horrors I have 2 in my 58.

so i have a question.....

what are the signs of a healthy specimen vs an unhealthy, besides the bamm here it is this thing is dying.....

how long after shipping should you let these beauties sit at the shop before bringing it home?

thanks in advance
shane
