Picked up a Pink Stylophora frag

New to sps and wanted to see what you all thought about the health of it. I placed it on the sand bed for now and think after a week i will move him up to the halfway point and watch. I have a radion at 75% at this point for 6 hours. I read that they will feed on solids sometimes but not sure. I did target feed him some cyclopeeze while feeding my war coral. What do you think? I have a jbj ato and 50ml doser arriving today with some kalkwasser. Plan is to start off slow with the kalkwasser. Hanna alc and calc checkers will arrive today with the other items.

looks good. they grow pretty quickly. I have an ORA purple stylo that started out about the same size as yours and has probably trippled. I dont target feed mine anything. I dose calcium and iodine when needed, but thats it. GL with it!!

He looks pretty happy to me too. Your plan of gradually moving him up sounds like a good one. I had a pink birdnest that went from a frag like yours to almost volleyball sized in about a year so they are very fast growing!
