Pickling Lime

Does anyone know a local place I can get Pickling Lime from? My PH has been swinging from 7.7 at night to 8.0 during the day. I'm running outside air into my skimmer but it did not help. Or if anyone has any suggestions lmk.

Call Woodmans first! Last time I was there they didn't even know if they ever carried it. A manager was supposed to get back to me, & never did.

I seen it at the new fleet farm in Appleton and Woodmans. (both in canning section but I don't know why, I think more people buy it for other reasons )

I was at the Woodmans in Kenosha today. They "had" (8) 1lb containers of Mrs Wages pickling lime for $2.59 each. They said they would have more tomorrow.

You are usually up on your research. But we were just looking at this place last week. 20lbs of kalk for only $1.50/lb. They have bulk carbon and bulk GFO as well.

I was at Woodmans for grocery shopping. The kalk is in the canning aisle. No shipping fees & convenient 1lb containers count for something.

Shipping will probably bring this stuff to $2/lb or so. I measure mine by the cup anyway, so dont care much about the containers they are in.

I'm just giving you a hard time Tom. If I saw the stuff at Woodmans I'd probably just buy it too. The stuff is cheap enough as it is. The only reason I'm bringing this twopartsolution place up is I still want to get some bulk carbon and maybe bulk GFO from them sometime too. Maybe in a month or so.

For anyone looking for lime, I hear Walmart has carries it in their canning section. I haven't looked there yet, but will the next time I go.
