I just set this up tonight to house a tiny little pistol shrimp that Dave found at the shop today. It is a 3/4 gallon tank with hang on back filter, and 3 X 9 watt PC's. 2 are 10K and 1 Actinic. Anyway...here it is...

And this is a cool shot. This was taken with the flash on. He is so small, it looks like an X-ray. I did not PhotoShop this at all...just the flash giving this effect.

It is funny you say that. I think I am going to plumb this little tank into one of our larger systems for heating/cooling and filtration issues. Just trying to figure out what size plumbing to use with this tiny little tank. Maybe 1/4" return using JG fittings, and 1/2" drain to the sump.

I had a little 1 gallon nano for a while. Filtration can be overcome with water changes. But I always had issues with water temp. Slap some decent light over what essentialy is a glass of water and it gets tough to keep the temp down. I used a singe 50/50 25w (or was it 20W) coralife Mini-PC.
