Picotope fish possibilities...

I haven't added any fish to my picotope since I started it a year ago and I'd like to get some blennies for my 80 gallon tank but don't think I'll see them much.

Is it irresponsible to consider a small blenny for a picotope?

Any recommendations?

I think you could put a small fish in a 3g for sure. What kind of blenny are you looking at?

I've been considering building a picotope with barnacle blennies as the main event. They are - and stay - very small, but are interesting if you give them their hidey-holes front-and-centre.

I've got a barnacle blenny in my 40. Great little fish. They stay under 2" so you could put one in there, but keep up with water changes to export nutrients.

I was thinking the same thing. I wanted to add some barnacle blennies to my classroom tank
