I am a big anemone enthusiest and keep the type of aquarium that a lot of people would avoid or not keep mixed together. My tank is mainly dominated by SPS Acropora coral with soft coral around the bottom of the tank, 2 clams (a Squamosa and a Crocea) along with a Rose BTA, a Maxi-Mini carpet and now have a quite large green and pink/purple Long Tentacle anemone. And all of this is together in close quarters in a 33 gallon tank. Two Kessil A350 LED pendants, 10gal sump. A lot of ppl, including myself, say I am playing with fire with the mix I have. Anything can go wrong with my stock, which keeps me on my toes and keeps me VERY in tune with the personality of my tank. Every Coral or other Invert in my tank I know inside out which is in a way how I know my tank so well and what gives me vibes on what will work and what won't work in my system. I absolutely love my tank, and I am very excited and nervous about having this Long Tentacle in my tank. Main reason being that I don't know this particular LTA very well. But I am fortunately getting a very good vibe from it and it has stayed put since putting it in my tank, right where I want it and where I think it would be happiest! It's been 4 1/2 hrs now and the most it has moved is that it has now slipped its foot into the sandbed right undernieth the rock I place it infront of which is exactly what I wanted it to do! I think it likes that spot so far, but tomorrow will be the real test to see if the lighting is adequet for it as the lgihts have been dimmed and turned off because it was late when getting it home. Fingers crossed! Here are a few pics of him though.
