Pics from a Trip to Egypt

Went to Egypt over New Years and these are a handful of pictures I took. I didn't bother with most of the monument pictures as I'm sure you've seen them before. As you may have noticed I've been into people in my pictures lately and am really enjoying it.

Let me know what you think.

Structures and landscapes certainly have their place, but I also find myself mostly keeping travel photos with people in them. One of the things that brings street photography to life is capturing the subject's story. Otherwise, it's usually just a mug shot. Grab some context, you know? One of my favorite street photographers is a guy named Tony Dummett. He has a great portfolio over at another major photo forum, but I don't know that it's appropriate for me to use URLs here. (Can anyone direct me to the rules?)

I have no idea, but I don't see a problem with it. Your allowed to link to a products website.

I agree, I just recently started to get the courage to ask people if I can take their pictures and it almost always works out and I really like the pictures, I remember those pictures and places better with the people in them. Then again some are just lucky shots as well :D

You could always PM me the link instead.

Thanks you

Thank you, Tony Dummett is a very good photographer, its more about capturing a moment then taking a picture. I'm a big fan of the style and its always good to have something to strive for,

I'll read the story when I have a little more time, Thanks you again for the links.

I visited there a couple times. Did you go to the museum? I know the whole country is a museum. LOL

I went to Hurghada for most of the time so I could dive but I also went to Cairo and the Valley of the Kings. It was a great trip
