I posted these pics in my own thread (click my red house) but thought I wpuld post some here. This is my TBS reef, kept in my clasroom for the last 2.5 years. I think it is almost as easy as my freshwater tanks!!
I can not believe it has been that long......and you have done an AMAZING job keeping all those corals alive....whatever you do, you need to spread that info around!

1. I followed your instructions.
2. Common sense.
3. Patience.
4. Keep the sand bed ALIVE!! Nothing that hits the bottom of my tank decomposes, it gets eaten by the billions of organisms in the sand. My PO4 and Nitrate have read 0 for a LONG time.
5. I used to feed the tube corals by hand but not anymore and not for a long time. They get plenty from the cyclops I feed to the tank. Having an ultra live sand bed helps, I can feed lots, ensuring the corals get their fair share and the sand critters clean up.
6. Common sense.
7. Patience.
hi. do you have m.h. lights? i gave my condi to the lfs because i didn't think my lighting was strong enough for him. i see your's is looking very nice.
No, I have 300W of PC lighting. So far it has been enough for everything I have tried to keep. You have to realize that my 40 gallon tank is only 17 inches high though and I have almost 7.5W per gallon.
