Anyone have large colonies of the maxi-mini carpet nems? Id love to have a large colony myself, but unless I plumb in a new tank, it just won't happen.

So, I want to live vicariously through you. Show em off.

Wow I've never seen ones like that up here in Canada, it appears I have to start a new mission to find a vendor that will be willing to ship, as importing things without skeletons is fairly easy. These beauties would give my Rock Flower collection a run for its money

Here is my blue raptor mini maxi that I won on an ebay auction. It seems that mini maxis prefer LED's though.

They are really easy to prop. I hope to see many more unusual / colorful morphs once people get used to them. To me, they are like large mushroom polyps.

Heres a shot of some of mine. After having them for awhile, I find that they clumped all together in one place and the larger ones would shadow the smaller ones. This caused them to shrink and bleach from what I assume was starvation. had to thin out the colony a bit o keep that from happening.
