I have two metal halides 175 watts Coralvue Reeflux 14K and two VHO's 72" 160 watts from UVL, one SuperActinic and one 454. All with IceCap ballasts.

Very nice. That frogspawn and those blue mushrooms are out of control. How long has the tank been set up? I can't imagine how long it would take my frags to get that huge.

This tank was setup originally in 1990 in my garage. This november will be 20 years old!. I had several crashes but live rock is the original rock.

The tank was in the floor for close to 2 months waiting for the new location to be ready.

The tank in 2005. Look at the frogspawn! The only filter was a hang on Remora Pro skimmer.

Not sure if we can call this the fish room. All equipment is under the tank.



This is what I have under the tank. SWC Xtreme 200 skimmer, chaeto and mangroves in the sump, Current Tower chiller 1/4hp, Calcium reactor, Phosban reactor with Rowa media, etc..

Recently I changes the 2X4 holding the light for these suports. A lot better!

That's a closed brain coral, aka pineapple or moon coral.
