Tank looks great! The plate coral is cool.

I wish I could get a decent night shot of it. It swells at least 3 times its normal size at night so it can attempt to move. They can be wanderers if you don't box them in. It was a coral that I was scared to get for a very long time because my LFS could never keep one alive more than a month. Hours after I brought it home, it looked better. It is a voracious eater and grows at a decent rate if you feed it well. I have never had a moments problem out of it and highly reccomend them. Now that I know how easy they are, I want a Kiwi plate, orange plate, and a green long tentacle plate.

Theres a thin layer of reddish algae on the overflows. Its so dark it blends in well. This tank hasn't been settled long enough to completely encrust in coraline yet. I have gotten some coraline on the overflows but its usually up by the surface of the water.

Thanks. Compliments are what keeps me going on those days when I ask myself "why did I get in this hobby?"

I bought a bunch of livestock in Gville, FL, some is in the tank currently, but the majority is at a friends house for the time being.

My favorite scores have been the Green Long Tentacle Plate, Green Torch, Purplish green BTA and a male mate for my GSM. All the others are of the sps sort. I got some good montis and acros.
