Those 13K lamps make your tank look bright and sunny. I hate an overly blue tank. Congrats on a nice set-up.

The tank looks great Untamed!

The Atlantic Blue looks awesome! How big is he now?

Wow all those Huge Tangs make your tank look small! :smurf:

Yes, it does have that effect. Less so in person because you get more scale from being in the room, but in FTV photos it is misleading.

Tank looking good. Are you running a cal reacter, your pink algae growing crazy.

Yes, I run a Ca reactor and Kalk reactor. I don't tend to get as much coraline as others though. I don't know why.

6"...maybe 7"? (1.5" wide!)

Your vlamingi is looking great! Mine has just started getting it's streamers!

How do you like the lighting? I am thinking of something similar size (someday) but really like the t-5's I have.

I'm quite happy with the lighting in so far as how the tank looks and how healthy things are.

It would be nice if I generated less heat. The Aquamedic Ocean Light fixtures are a PITA to change bulbs on. 6 x 250W bulbs burn a lot of electricity as well.

I guess it is almost a year since my last update, so here are some more recent photos. Things seem well. I've simplified my procedures quite a bit... No more phosphate media, no more carbon, no more ozone... Just weekly water changes.
