Hey all - thought I would share some pictures too. It’s been up and running very well for 6 months...moderately ok for a year before that...and the first couple of years I was clueless. Now it’s automated and everything is happy.

Thanx...got the sponge from Rockin-Reef several months ago..and its actually growing. I feed them all some phytoplankton and cyclop-eze..in a soupy mixture and pour it in a couple times a week... The Wrasse was a female Bird wrasse and on Memorial day weekend She was skittish for a few days then turned grayish and then into a He. Guess it decided life was better as a male? In any case he has almost doubled in size since I got him 2 years ago.

how do you manage to keep you glass nice and clean?

I have a bow front too and at the bottom is pink and green. The scraper doesn't work .... any advice? ;)

Looking good. I agree i like that yellow sponge. Is that a tomato clown? I have 1 that tonight decided to host in my open brain coral.

I know what your saying about the bow-front bottom - the only way I can keep it clean is to get a single edge razor in there every couple of weeks. Actually its a mahogany clown...hes been very well behaved, sometimes he gets a wild hair and pushes a fish around, or rearranges a rock, if I move it. Usually he just hangs out...I had a bubble anenome and he destroyed it, he fell in love and beat it to death trying to mate wth it..the poor anenome didnt fare well..and curled up in a ball...so no playtoys for him any more.
