Here are some pics of my AP24. It has been setup for a month now. I have a lot of green algae growing on the glass.

Please let me know what you think. I am going to run tests tonight on the water. I will post them as soon as I get them.

Look like it's time for a clean up crew.I went through the same thing with my 29 biocube.I am so gald thats over.I like your rockwork and will look nice in a few months.Good luck.

Here's the test results.
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
PH 8.6
Alkalinity 300
Temp 79

I am getting the clean up crew tomorrow.
I am thinking about some kind of goby, clown, and my a bicolor pseudo. What do you guys think?

don't add too many fish at once. you may not have enough bacteria in your tank to take care of the waste they will produce. add some turbo snails for the algae. have fun!

Pull all the hair alage out that you can and clean the glass. Are you using RO/DI water?I got a purple firefish a about a month ago I love the color in that fish.Sound good you going to add corals?

Make sure you're not running your lights for longer than 11-12 hours daily at most!! Try cleaning your glass daily. Pick up a good clean up crew as well..

I had the same exact problem in my 10g, I just had some big but mexican turbos clean it and a few patches stayed then it was gone. Just do not let it get to your rock work. it clings on there good you have to manually pluck it.

I think it is done cycling. I put those frags in there last week. I really didn't care if they died. A friend of mine took them out of his aquarium and he was going to trash them, so I thought I would give them a shot. They have done great in there.
